PORTAGE AREA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY

Each year more than a dozen Portage County non-profit organizations receive grants from PARTA’s subsidized fare program to help clients who cannot afford the cost of public transportation. These grants are funded, in part, through PARTA’s Foundation, FORE! Transit.

 

In 2025, our goal is to raise $10,000 to help Portage County residents who cannot afford bus fare. Combined with dollars from PARTA’s general fund, monies raised by FORE! Transit will be donated to local agencies to support reduced fare to aid their clients who have difficulty affording bus fare.

We at PARTA and FORE! Transit, as well as those agencies that depend on us for assistance, hope that you will choose to support this worthy program. Register to participate in our annual golf outing or consider a sponsorship. 

 

You may also choose to help by making a generous gift. Your donation of $25, $50, $100, or whatever amount you are able to give, will help some of Portage County’s most vulnerable residents make life-necessary trips they would otherwise not be able to afford – to medical appointments, counselors, the grocery store,  and more.
