Health Insurance

PARTA offers a comprehensive medical package including health, prescription, dental, and vision as well as life insurance for full-time employees.

 

OPERS

As a public employer, all PARTA employees are members of the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System (OPERS), which provides for retirees, surviving spouses, dependent children and dependent parents.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

PARTA‘s EAP, through Life Services, provides free confidential counseling services for employees and their dependents, as well as support, resources, and information for a wide variety of personal and work-life issues.

Paid Time Off

PARTA offers paid time off for major holidays, vacation, and sick time.

Blakemore Scholarship Fund

The Blakemore Scholarship Fund is a $1,000 scholarship awarded each semester to an employee of Campus Bus Service who best reflects the determination and work ethic of Robert Blakemore, Jr.

Personal Training and Development

PARTA promotes learning and development across the organization.  Training starts with onboarding for new hires to continued development of the tenured employees and leadership team.  Training includes soft skills training, leadership training, compliance training, and technical training.

Free Transportation

Employees are able to use any of PARTA‘s fixed route buses at no cost.
